CUDYLL COCH DRAMA COMPANY
The Cudyll Coch Drama Company from Llandeilo visited once again this year. While welcoming the audience, Eirian Morgan, the Chairman of the Hall Committee referred to the recent passing of Mr Jack Davies, Glantwrch, Pumsaint, who had accepted an invitation to be president for the evening. Mr Davies was a community councilor for many years, and had been awarded the M.B.E. earlier in the year. As a sign of respect, the audience stood for a minute’s silence before commencing the drama. A kind donation was received by the Tremavon family in memory of Jack Davies. Two comedies were performed – ‘Iechyd Da’ by David Jones, and ‘Gweld Ser’ by Peter Hughes Grifiths, and the audience enjoyed the evening.

JONSI
BBC Radio Cymru visited the village on the 18th of April to broadcast their daily breakfast programme, ‘Jonsi’. During the programme, Jonsi spoke with some of the school children and local residents and some members of the Hall Committee prepared some breakfast for everybody who had come to listen and take part in the programme.
